-Gatsby is great as a title of the book because he is the character who later gets killed although he doesn't really deserve to be killed. -He also seems like a key character because Nick is keep trying to know about him.

-Nick is the main character and is very dishonest. -As a narrator, he is not that reliable. -The dishonesty of him makes him an effective narrator.
2. Why is first-person narrative an effective and appropriate way of telling this story?
-First-person narrative is an effective and appropriate way of telling this story because the person then tells or describes about the story more specifically. -If this happens, then the story will also be read as a one-person view of the story which means that he or she can even express his or her thoughts or opinions throughout the story.
11. Gatsby’s tragedy is that he chooses the wrong dream (Daisy). Has he been corrupted by society? Or is his choice an indication that he is part of the corruption?

- The epigraph= "Whenever you feel like criticizing any one, just remember that all the people in this world haven't had the advantages that you've had." This reflects on Gatsby's story by telling about the relationship between Gatsby and Tom due to Daisy. For example, Gatsby couldn't impress Daisy that well. This tells that Gatsby could not have anything he wants.
12. At the end of the book, Nick imagines what the continent must have been like when it was first seen by Dutch sailors. How does this contrast with the environment described in the novel?
